Ohio Marijuana Card is thrilled to announce that Klutch Cannabis in Akron will be returning to the Ohio Marijuana Expo, as a Gold Leaf sponsor, for a full day of celebrating all things cannabis at the Sharonville Convention Center in Cincinnati on April 2nd, 2022!
This year, we are already seeing big changes in Ohio’s medical marijuana program that will improve the overall patient experience, and Klutch Cannabis has played a role in the process. Pete Nischt, Klutch’s Chief Compliance and Communications Director, said, “We advocated really strongly for an increase to 9 ounces in 90 days and the elimination of the Tier System. It’s been a long time coming, but it’s That’s a huge thing for patients.”
Nischt was referring to the Board of Pharmacy’s recent decision to drop the confusing tier system for medical marijuana flower, and allow patients to simply purchase 9 ounces of flower in a 90-day period. This means that patients can easily purchase their full 90-day supply, and they don’t need to understand rocket science to know how much they can buy on any given day.
Klutch Applies for Ohio Medical Marijuana Dispensary Licenses
In addition to simplifying medical marijuana purchase limits, the Ohio Board of Pharmacy has opened up licensing for 73 new dispensaries in the Buckeye State. Klutch submitted more applications than any other entity in the state, and they are hoping to be awarded licensing to open several dispensaries in the near future.
The team at Klutch Cannabis believes that communicating directly with patients is the best way to ensure fulfilling participation in Ohio’s medical marijuana program. Opening dispensaries, “puts us in touch with the people we’re serving so we can communicate more effectively about our products and stay in touch with what the needs of of the patients are,” according to Nischt.
If all goes as hoped, Klutch Cannabis could be opening a medical marijuana dispensary near you in the future!

And in case you find yourself itching to shop at Ohio dispensaries and relieve your symptoms naturally with outstanding products like the delicious chocolates from Kiva or one of Ohio’s most popular marijuana flower strains, Ice Cream Cake, Ohio Marijuana Card doctors will be standing by for on-site medical marijuana evaluations at the Expo!
