Everybody has that dream job that they visualize in their head, whether it be opening a business, writing a book, community engagement, who doesn't want a job that they love!? Well, for our cannabis enthusiasts, that job may have just become available! American Marijuana is hiring a Cannabis Product Reviewer with the ability to earn up to $36,000 a year testing different products.
The reviewer will be sent a box of cannabis products such as flower, vapes, edibles, and CBD oils to test each month. The reviewer will then share their opinions, insights, and explain how the products work while being comfortable in front of the camera for unboxing and writing blogs for the products. The reviewer will be able to work from home, earning up to $3,000 a month depending on experience and knowledge.
American Marijuana has stated that they are looking for someone with "extensive knowledge of marijuana," and the applicants must live in a state in the U.S. or Canada where medical marijuana is legal. Additionally, the applicant must be physically fit, healthy, able to smoke every day and be over 18 years of age.
In order to apply, the applicant must submit either a headshot or a one-minute video of themselves talking about the position, a resume, links to their social media, and six slang words for marijuana via a form on American Marijuana's website. Only one person will be chosen and will receive notification via email on December 4, 2019.
Furthermore, participation in the Cannabis Product Reviewer position will serve as an individual contractor, and the applicant must agree to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material.
It is difficult to surmise whether this type of arrangement would create conflict with an individual's status as a medical marijuana patient in Ohio, as using product outside of Ohio's Medical Marijuana Control Program is technically non-compliant; and it is difficult to understand the logistics of how they will get the product to the reviewer if the reviewer is out of state, as cannabis is still federally classified as a schedule 1 drug and for that reason cannot be shipped out of state borders. There is a possibility that if an individual from Ohio is chosen, the very act of completing your job of reviewing would conflict with the rules and regulations of Ohio's medical marijuana program, and could therefore pose a risk to loss of registration as a medical marijuana patient in Ohio. Furthermore, if the solution to getting the products to the reviewer is done through the mail, this would inherently put, not only American Marijuana, but the reviewer themself in possible legal jeopardy.
If you are an Ohioan suffering from one of these 21 medical conditions you may be eligible to treat your ailment with medical marijuana, which includes both THC and CBD products.
