As the state’s medical marijuana market continues to expand, new products are popping up on dispensary shelves like clockwork.
Most recently, a nationally-distributed brand of vaping products has made its way onto dispensary shelves, giving Ohio Marijuana Card patients one more option to treat their condition.
TILT Holdings, an international cannabis company, announced in a recent press release that they have teamed with nationally-distributed vaporizer maker Timeless Refinery to bring a new line of vaporization products to the Buckeye State.
As we’ve reported, the state Board of Pharmacy’s recent decision to expand the number of licensed retailers is expected to drive down costs in the state’s medical marijuana market, which should increase patient participation in the market. That, in turn, should attract more cannabis businesses to the state, increasing competition and sparking innovation and improvement in products and services.
It would appear that this marriage between two well-known cannabis companies in order to bring new products to Ohio dispensaries is one of the first examples of that predicted trend.
New Ohio Vaporizing Options Produced by Two Top Cannabis Companies
Although TILT has already been providing products for Ohio’s cannabis market for a while, this united effort is just the latest move by a major marijuana company to expand its presence in the Buckeye State.
According to the company’s website, “TILT services brands and cannabis retailers across 37 states in the U.S., as well as Canada, Israel, South America and the European Union,” and their core businesses include “Jupiter Research LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary and leader in the vaporization segment focused on hardware design, research, development and manufacturing… and Standard Farms Ohio, LLC.”
Jupiter will be providing Timeless Refinery with technical support, while Standard Farms will be providing the medicine for use in Timeless’ vaporizers.
As for Timeless, while the company may not rival TILT, they too are a relative giant in the cannabis industry, with products available in Arizona, Oklahoma, Missouri, California, and now Ohio via their partnership with TILT.
“We hold a longstanding relationship with Timeless through our Jupiter business and look forward to again leveraging the best of TILT to bring an established West Coast brand to the East,” Gary Santo, CEO of TILT, said in the press release.
“Timeless Vapes is excited to be coming east with a great partner in TILT to provide clean and effective cannabis medicine with innovative engagement to consumers through our pillars of community, culture, and legacy across the country, and we are thrilled to welcome Ohio patients into our community,” said Rocky Huang, founder of Timeless.
Vaporizer Partnership Came Together Quickly
TILT and Timeless first announced their joint plans for Ohio in March, and their products are already available in several Ohio dispensaries.
“I could not be prouder of our team’s ability to quickly activate our brand partners in new markets,” Santo said in the press release. “In less than ninety days, and after thoughtful collaboration between the TILT, Standard Farms, Jupiter and Timeless teams, we are excited to launch three premium vape products along with Timeless’ unique flip case and battery hardware in Ohio.”
New Vaporizer Options Are Made Especially for the Ohio Market
The vaporizer options that TILT and Timeless are bringing to the Ohio market are specifically customized for Buckeye state patients.
Huang said in the press release that his company is excited to be coming to Ohio, and that “We believe this (excitement) is reflected in the custom Ohio flip case, unique moods, and exciting flavor profiles we are bringing to market.”
Ohio patients who choose Timeless products to use in that custom Ohio flip case will have three options for their medicine: Energy for an uplifting experience, Chill for balance, and Rest for sleepy relaxation.
Vaping Medical Marijuana is Generally Seen as Safer Than Smoking
People have been smoking marijuana for thousands of years, but tradition is one of the few advantages smoking offers over vaping. When you weigh the pros and cons, vaping offers a lot of benefits over smoking.
Vaporizers don’t completely eliminate the scent of your medicine, but the smell is minimal when compared to smoking. Vaporizing produces the same effects with less product, so the cost of a vaporizer is offset by stretching your supply of medicine.
Dosing is more consistent with vaporizing than it is with smoking. Each “hit” from a vaporizer offers roughly the same amount of medicine, whereas smoking “hits” are more inconsistent and hard to keep track of.
Vaporizing medical marijuana provides quick-acting relief, like smoking, but it’s easier on the lungs and allows for the ingestion of fewer unwanted elements of your medicine, like “potentially hazardous compounds.”
Vaporizers heat up substances until they create an aerosol, but they do not actually cause the substances to combust. So, when you vaporize an oil containing medical marijuana, you get an aerosol that is easier on the lungs than smoking and is more medicinal with far less tar and carcinogens.

For now, Ohio patients can find the Timeless Vapes’ flip case and battery combos at a number of dispensaries, with more to be added to the Timeless website as products continue to roll out.
Timeless has also hosted on-site activations throughout the state, with Timeless employees sharing product education and promotions. These appearances will also be listed on the company’s website.
