How To Participate in 4/20 During Quarantine

Updated: May 27, 2020

Is COVID-19 ruining your 4/20 plans this year? Here are some tips for staying safe & healthy all while celebrating the non-official marijuana holiday. Ohio medical marijuana patients have several deals and discounts to take advantage of this year at dispensaries across the state. Purchasing your medication is one thing, but using it safely during the pandemic is another. Here are some tips for consuming your medication safely while still celebrating 4/20.

1. Practice Social Distancing

Host your own virtual hangout with friends on platforms such as zoom, skype, or whatsapp!

2. Avoid Inhaling

During the CO-VID 19 pandemic it is suggested to avoid inhalation of any kind if you are already ill since this is a respiratory illness. We suggest trying other methods of medicating such as edibles, tinctures, and topicals!

3. Sanitize, Sanitize, Sanitize!

It may seem like common sense, but make sure you are cleaning off as much of your medication as you are able to! Any lids, vape pens, containers, packaging, and bags if you re-use them each time to pick up your medication will help minimize the spread of germs!

4. Wash your hands before and after medicating

Be sure to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds to throughly scrub away the germs! Some songs you can jam to during your hand washing that are 4/20 friendly would be..

Last Dance With Mary Jane- Tom Petty

Roll Up- Wiz Khalifa

Because I Got High- Afroman

Roll Me Up- Willie Nelson
