Ohio has had an issue with inflated medical marijuana prices. This is because of a simple supply and demand problem that we have witnessed since the medical marijuana program formed.
There was an unexpected amount of medical marijuana patients and not enough dispensaries to fulfill the need. With a high demand for medical marijuana, dispensaries gained the power to charge higher prices since there are not enough dispensaries in the state.
But this is changing!
In April, the Ohio medical marijuana program announced that they would be giving licenses to 73 additional dispensaries. This is great news for Ohioans as increased competition will hopefully create lower, competitive prices.
In the meantime, here is a list of some of the deals that are available at Ohio dispensaries!
Keep in mind that dispensaries are businesses at the end of the day. They could have a product one day and the next day be sold out. One of the best things you can do is call your local dispensary first just to double check that they have the discounted product you’re looking for!
